About Us.
Having met while working together at Seattle Tree Preservation with John Hushagen, we have combined 20 years experience in tree care from fine pruning, tree removal, preservation, hedging, emergency services and more. While working with John, he taught us to care for and respect the trees and to take care when working with them. From 4 foot tall Japanese maples to 200 foot Douglas furs, we pride ourself in managing and caring for the full life cycle of the tree no matter its size, and also salvage wood, mill and craft custom furniture here in Seattle, Washington. Dustin Grinstead
Few have as much passion for trees and the outdoors as Dustin and when it comes to taking care of your trees, you know that you’re in good hands when he’s on the job. A transport from Ohio, you get the sense that there is PNW blood running through his veins. Since moving to Seattle he’s been working at Seattle area tree companies, most formerly Seattle Tree Preservation, salvaging, milling and building furniture from local materials as Grinstead Millworks.
Kyle Anderson
ISA Certified Arborist and Seattle native with a passion for the outdoors, working in trees is just a natural extension of all things that get him up in the morning. Avid snowboarder, father, husband and Certified Arborist, Kyle also loves camping and getting out into nature when he’s not checking out some good music. His time at Seattle Tree Preservation and operating his own business Splintered Sunlight Tree care he' brings years of experience to the table.
